This year’s recipient has been active with the Chamber for many years and has been heavily involved with several Chamber projects over the years. He has also spent two days each summer to help facilitate our Leadership Eau Claire Retreat and has presented numerous seminars for the Chamber.

For a seventh year in a row, Jerry Moen is the recipient of this award helping the Chamber achieve a record high 1,1183 members.
AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR
Kate Ludwigson, Area Financial Services
Kate Ludwigson was an active Ambassador participating in all activities, including numerous ribbon cuttings, and always doing the extra things to make the organization a success.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Group Health Cooperative
This award was presented to Group Health Cooperative for its efforts in economic well being, sense of the community, workforce issues, cultural enhancements and Chamber involvement. They have grown over 16% each year the past two years. They are actively involved in more than a dozen community organizations, and their employees are very active with the Chamber. They work with many local companies to help control their costs.
OUTSTANDING PUBLIC EMPLOYEE
Jim Schmitt, Eau Claire School District
This award was given to Jim Schmitt for cooperation, open-minded attitude and willingness to learn, demonstration of his working to reach his employees' goals and a willingness to get involved in the community beyond what is required in his work activities. Jim has been very active in The Real Life Academy and Youth Leadership Eau Claire.
