Application & Tuition
Selection Criteria
Potential participants of Leadership Eau Claire™(LEC)
are asked to complete an application and attend a group interview
session. LEC Executive Committee will select up to 39 participants on the
basis of community interests, accomplishments, experience and ability to
assume expanded community responsibility. Since the number of appointments
to LEC is limited, applicants who are not selected are encouraged to reapply
in subsequent years.
Not more than two candidates per company will be selected to participate
each year.
Participants will be notified of acceptance in mid-July. No tuition is due
before acceptance.
Commitment Criteria
Applicants must have the full support of the organization or corporation
they represent. To graduate from Leadership Eau Claire, participants must:
- Attend the opening retreat.
- Have no more than one unexcused absence.
- Participate in a group project.
Application forms are available in April of every year. Deadline for
submitting an application is June 1.
Tuition
The program costs a fraction of what other seminars cost and includes 10
days of training. It is an investment with proven results. The cost of the
program may be covered by employers or jointly by employers and employees.
Tuition covers all fees associated with the program including meals,
transportation, materials and accommodations for the retreat. Chamber
members receive a discount.
Tuition Assistance
A limited number of partial scholarships may be available to individuals or
organizations otherwise unable to provide tuition. Scholarships are provided
by LEC alumni and friends.
