Smoke detectors cut the risk of home fire death in half 💨 🔥 The American Red Cross’s Sound the Alarm event brought together groups of volunteers to perform fire safety visits and install alarms to make our neighbors safer last month. To support the Green Bay event, Associated Bank donated $5,000 and the volunteer training space coordinated by colleagues Jake VanDaalwyk and Robert C. Leibold, CTPRP. Colleagues were among 50+ volunteers who installed 232 smoke detectors in 78 homes. 👏

Here at the bank, we are lucky to have an active Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team. They regularly invite speakers and organize events that help all colleagues understand various cultures within our communities. To highlight Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islanders Heritage Month, we were happy to welcome Jolene Jang to discuss the importance of Asian American representation and inclusion. We appreciate her connecting with our team and raising awareness to the significant value and ongoing contributions of the AANHPI communities. Check out what she is all about below! ⬇️

What an amazing night! We were proud to sponsor and take part in recognizing the MVPs making a difference for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee at the MVP Salute to Youth 2024 event. Supporting the future generations of our community is a core part of how we support the places we call home. Thanks to BGCGM and all the honorees, including our very own MVP Board Member Cory Nettles, for making Milwaukee a better place for our youth!
