When it comes to supporting our neighbors in need, our Eau Claire team shows up! Not only did their office have 100% participation in the United Way of Greater Chippewa Valley campaign, they were recently awarded with the Spirit of the Chippewa Valley award! This award is the highest corporate recognition given by UWGCV and recognizes employees for exhibiting excellence in the area of corporate contributions, employee giving, employee education, and volunteerism promotion. Way to go, Team Miron!

19 students visited our Yard Operations last week where they learned about potential career pathways and skills that are essential for the construction industry! The students also had the opportunity to get hands-on experience with several large pieces of equipment which included concrete pump trucks and cranes. Team Miron has been participating in OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down initiatives, taking a break from the workday to focus on fall hazards and reinforce the importance of fall prevention. Throughout the week, OSHA stopped by 12 Miron project sites to join in the conversations, allowing team members to ask any questions they may have regarding safety. Our fall protection vendor, 3M, also gave valuable hands-on training of fall protection equipment and provided valuable input to three of our stand-down conversations. We are beyond grateful to OSHA and 3M for visiting our project sites and all Team Miron members and subcontractors for taking the time to ensure our projects remain safe. U.S. Department of Labor

Calling all 7th- 10th grade girls interested in the construction industry and trades! We have an educational and hands-on event for you this summer! In June, we will host our eighth annual Build Like A Girl event in Neenah, in addition to hosting an event at our new Eau Claire office in July.
